Kisspeptin Peptide

A graphite monograph on the KISS1 neuropeptide — the upstream switch of the reproductive axis, read from the published literature with the limits kept in plain view.

Amounts from watched studies

Kisspeptin dosage and what happened next

Researchers tried these amounts during watched visits. The figures describe those tests and aren’t a guide for your use.

What Kisspeptin dosage figures can tell you

Researchers made kisspeptin for studies because they wanted to see how the hormone chain works. Those tests didn’t set a standard kisspeptin dosage for your care.

Medical staff watched every amount given here. The figures tell you what researchers used, not what anyone ought to take.

The two forms last for quite different times. Kisspeptin-10 works about 4 minutes, while kisspeptin-54 works about 27 to 28 minutes [8].

Repeat use brings another limit. The body answers less, so a steady drip can lose force [4][16].

Studies used a vein drip or a shot under the skin. In 2025, researchers also tried a nasal spray [6].

What stayed with me was the fading reply. One amount can’t become a sound treatment plan when the body soon reacts less.

Which Kisspeptin dosage each group received

These were watched research visits, and each group received kisspeptin in a different way. A nanomole is a tiny lab measure, while micrograms state the drug’s weight.

  • Healthy men, kisspeptin-54 through a vein: The kisspeptin-54 drip ran at 4 trillionths of a mole per kilogram each minute for 90 minutes [8]. Their blood tests showed a hormone rise from kisspeptin-54.
  • Healthy men, kisspeptin-10 through a vein: A quick shot used 0.3–1.0 micrograms per kilogram, and a drip used 1.5 micrograms per kilogram each hour [3]. A higher 4 micrograms per kilogram each hour raised testosterone.
  • Women who had lost their periods: A drip used 0.01–1.00 nanomoles per kilogram each hour [4]. The highest rate began to lose force.
  • Women having fertility care: One shot used 3.2, 6.4, 9.6, or 12.8 nanomoles per kilogram [5]. The 9.6 amount had the best live-birth rate in that study.
  • Kisspeptin-54 nasal spray: The main 2025 amount was 12.8 nanomoles per kilogram [6]. Men also received 3.2/6.4/25.6 nanomoles per kilogram.

These amounts answer what the studies gave, but they aren’t safe-use directions. Your health may differ from the people who took part.

What changed with the two Kisspeptin forms

Kisspeptin-10 leaves the blood fast because the blood breaks this short protein apart. Its useful effect lasts about 4 minutes, which suits a brief test but can’t show what steady use would do.

Kisspeptin-54 lasts longer. The longer form stayed active for close to half an hour in people [8].

That extra time is why period and fertility studies often used kisspeptin-54. Medical staff could watch a steadier hormone reply.

The 10 form, named for its 10 protein pieces, suited brief tests of hormone bursts. Still, a constant drip could make the body answer less.

Time in the blood isn’t proof of a benefit. It only says how long each form stayed active after a study dose.

What the Kisspeptin nasal spray changed in people

Early studies used a shot or a drip into a vein. The kisspeptin nasal spray let researchers test people without a needle.

In 2025, nasal kisspeptin-54 quickly raised the starter hormone in healthy men and women [6]. Women without periods also had a rise.

No bad effects were reported during that brief visit. Keeping the spray mix for 60 days at 4 °C didn’t show whether long use would be safe.

This was the first human test where the nasal form raised that hormone. The nasal formulation was a study product; a kisspeptin prescription listing does not establish that this spray is offered for care.

One short test leaves basic questions open. It can’t tell how the spray might affect your health after repeated or long use.

What makes repeated Kisspeptin use fade

Kisspeptin can lose force when it is given again and again. Researchers saw this in both shots and a steady vein drip.

Women without periods received kisspeptin-54 shots twice a day. Their blood level rose about 24 international units per liter on day 1, then only about 2.5 international units per liter by the 14th day, showing a much weaker reply [16].

A strong, steady vein drip also faded during the test [4]. Giving more didn’t keep the hormone reply going.

Wider gaps between shots or drips seemed to keep a stronger reply. That finding isn’t a schedule for you to follow.
